Fred Cox
Fred Cox, originally from Tennessee, began his artistic journey at a young age while spending summers with his grandmother. She encouraged his creativity through paint-by-number kits that sparked a lifelong passion for art. That passion carried him across Europe, where he traveled through Italy, France, Switzerland, and beyond. Fred studied at Atlanta College of Art and trained under two master painters in France. Since 1989, Fred has built a thriving art business, now based in Griffin, Georgia. His work has been collected not only across the United States, but also in France and Japan, a testament to its universal appeal. Trained in traditional European techniques, he specializes in resins, gilding, oils, and acrylics, creating pieces that embody soft, serene, and calming palettes.
